41-38 Bengal Warriors Highlights from the Bengaluru Bulls, ProKabaddi 2022: Maninder’s incredible 10 propels the Warriors into the top six

Bengal Warriors vs. Bengaluru Bulls, Pro Kabaddi League 9: Follow the highlights, score, updates, and analysis from Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

UPDATES:

Today, Maninder Singh had the help of Shrikant Jadhav and Girish Ernak, but he practically single-handedly turned the game around in areas. He earned his 11th super ten.

Maninder the Mighty:

Maninder Singh, popularly known as the ‘Mighty Maninder,’ led the Bengal Warriors to a stunning comeback victory over the Bengaluru Bulls. Maninder was well assisted by Girish Maruti Ernak and Shrikant Jadhav in defeating Bulls in the final minute. The Bengal Warriors struck first in the fast-paced early exchanges, thanks to Maninder Singh’s Super Raid.

The Bulls, on the other hand, landed a Super Tackle on Maninder, with Aman leading the defensive charge and Bharat chipping in with raids, as the game began to balance out towards the 10-minute mark. During a frenzied first half, Maninder was in the mood for another multi-point assault as the Warriors looked to pull away. While Maninder led the charge on offence, the Warriors’ defence came to the party and outplayed their opponents, pushing away to a 6-point lead with less than 5 minutes remaining in the first half. The Bulls, on the other hand, rallied via Bharat and Neeraj Narwal to take a 22-18 lead at the break.

The scores were Bulls vs. Warriors:

  • 38-41 All the Warriors raider needs to do now is cross the baulk line, and he does so. THE WARRIORS STEAL THE BULLS’ WIN. Randhir Sehrawat is upset.
  • 38-41 GB More receives an additional point, but the Warriors have taken down the Bulls raider and triggered the all-out.
  • 37-38 Maninder brings this raid down to the wire and causes a mistake. The defenders waited 26 seconds for Maninder to make a move, but the Warriors captain was considerably more patient, and he was rewarded with Saurabh Nandal.
  • Shrikant Jadhav knocks out the Bulls’ captain to tie the game at 37-37.
  • 37-36 Bharat was the Bulls’ last raider on the floor, and the Warriors sent him to the bench to rest alongside his colleagues. Ernak, Girish What a bold move. That’s a big wrestling manoeuvre. The Warriors CEO is on his feet, yelling at the top of his lungs in support of his team.
  • 37-35 Shrikant Jadhav knocks down Neeraj Narwal with a huge left in.
  • 37-34 Vikash Kandola is brought down by the Warriors’ defence. His takedown begins with a firm backhold.
  • 37-33 Maninder will keep working till he reaches his 11th super 10 of the season.
  • There are only five minutes left.
  • 37-32 Vikash Kandola takes out Girish Ernak, and the Bulls’ advantage increases. I don’t blame him for attempting the tackle. However, Bengal requires points.
  • 36-32 Mayur Kadam made a good attempt to get Shrikant Jadhav and his full body out of the court. Bulls are only a hair ahead.
  • 35-32 There were six people on the mat. Why didn’t Neeraj ask for a raise? The Bulls raider has an empty raid.
  • 35-32 Bharat’s jump fails when he attempts to get over the right chain. However, he gets brought down, and he is brought down severely. Shubham Shinde receives a point for his tackle.
  • 35-31 Maninder receives a point from Saurabh Nandal once more.
  • 35-30 THE SUPER RAID. Bharat is a fantastic player. The Bengal Warriors have reviewed the verdict and determined that the raider is out. Let us now go through what transpired. Bharat reaches his hand to Shubham Shinde’s right corner. That means he has access to the lobbies. What we need to see now is if any other portion of his body is in the lobby when he reaches midline.
  • His foot appears to be in the danger zone. Because the defender was on that leg, he was able to stay within the lines. UNSUCCESSFUL REVIEW BENGAL DOES NOT GET A REVIEW. The Bulls are presently five points up.
  • 32-30 Maninder is chipping away in the right corner and has a point. Saurabh Nandal is the player who must go.
  • 32-29 Warriors use the ALL OUT on Sachin Narwal, who is sandwiched and hauled to the back. What a battle the Warriors put up! Maninder, what do you know, is the one who receives this tackle point.
  • 31-26 Maninder enters the game when the Bulls have a tremendous tackle opportunity. Aman is pushed to the farthest corner by Maninder. GB More appears from behind him to thump him down, but Maninder sliops out to score a point.
  • 31-25 Bengal makes a strong comeback as Girish Ernak takes both of Vikash’s legs.
  • 31-24 Shrikant Jadhav enters the do-or-die raid and brings it down to the last seconds. Bengal earns a point when Saurabh Nandal is pulled out in the right corner.
  • 31-23 The Bengal Warriors are scoring a lot of points right now. Girish Ernak is the one performing the task.
  • 31-22 Mahender darts too near to the midline, and Shrikant Jadhav takes advantage of the opportunity.
  • 31-21 Bengal gets some respite as Bharat is sent to the bench. The tackle is coming from Manoj Gowda.
  • 31-20 VIKASH KANDOLA’S SUPER RAID. Bengal is assisting the man’s return to form by sending Girish Maruti Ernak, Vaibhav Garje, and Shubham Shinde to the bench. Three people chased him down, and he stumbled backwards, crossing the midline.
  • 28-20 Warriors get a bonus point, but the Bulls go all-out. Bengal is shattered here.
  • 25-19 Finally, Vikash Kandola earns a point with a touch on Shubham Shinde.
  • 24-19 Ajinkya Kapre receives an extra point.
  • 24-18 Meanwhile, Bharat is on a scoring spree. He gets a kick on Manoj Gowda, and Balaji D almost falls on Bharat, giving him another point.
  • 22-18 The dry period of Vikash Kandola persists. He returns empty-handed.
  • At one time, the Bulls trailed by six points, but they presently lead by four. The defence makes or breaks the game. We’ve said it before and will say it again: If the Bengal defence does not improve, the Warriors may not go past the league stage.
  • 22-18: It’s halftime! Bengal is trying out Manoj Gowda as a raider. There are no points.
  • Girish Ernak’s well-timed diving ankle hold at 20-18! The blankets rush in to help. Bengal brings up another aspect.
  • 19-17: After the all out, Neeraj Narwal returns with an empty raid. He currently has three raid points.
  • 16-17: Shrikanth Jadhav is pleased with the additional point as the raid time runs down.
  • 13-16: The Bulls have been down to seven on the mat. Maninder has been brought down again, this time by a swarm of five defenders.
  • 10-16: Shrikanth uses a kick to get the tiniest of touches on a crouched Mayur near the baseline. We had an ALL OUT just seconds later. Where were the Warriors earlier this season?
  • 9-11: A great tackle by the Bulls as Maninder is pushed to the ground by a strong anklehold from a Bulls defender.
  • 7-11: Maninder’s do-or-die raid begins. That is a daring action. He shoves Mahender away at the midline, giving Bengal two points.
  • 7-7: Mahender Singh’s stunning dash knocks out Shrikanth Jadhav.
  • Please accept my apologies for the late start. We had a few technical difficulties early on. However, the Bengal Warriors appeared to have little issue getting off to a stronger start. Bulls have always taken their time getting to full speed. It will be fascinating to see when they hit the gas pedal here.
