This holiday is observed in accordance with tradition. When will Vivah Panchami 2022 be observed? (Panchami Vivah Date). The most extraordinary Swayambar of the legendary age occurred on Shukla Panchami in the month of Marshish. This is a massive Swayambar, whose description may be found in the Puranas. On November 28, 2022, Vivah Panchami will be observed.
Vivah Panchami’s Story Festival
Rama and Sita were the earthly manifestations of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, who had been born as the son of King Dasaratha and the daughter of King Janak. According to the Puranas, Mother Sita was born from the earth when King Janak was ploughing and discovered a young child whom he named Sita, who is known as Janak’s daughter.
Mother Sita once lifted Lord Shiva’s bow placed in the temple, which was lifted by none other than Lord Parshuram, and King Janak determined that only Lord Shiva was worthy of his daughter. Pick up Vishnu’s bow and thread it.
Swayambar’s birthday was set, and the message was distributed widely. Many great Maharathi participated in this Swayambar, which included Lord Ram and Lakshman as spectators as well as Maharishi Vashishtha. Many kings tried, but no one could move the bow; saddened by this performance, King Janak said compassionately whether any king is unworthy of my daughter.
Seeing his mood, Maharishi Vashishtha invited Lord Ram to take part in the competition. Obeying the Guru’s orders, Lord Rama took up Shiva’s bow and began stringing it, but the bow broke, allowing Lord Rama to win Swayambar and marry Mother Sita. With a joyful heart, Mother wrapped a garland around Lord Ram’s neck.
A wave of happiness washed over the earth, underworld, and heaven as a result of this union. Flowers are supposed to have fallen from the heavens. The entire universe echoed, as conch shells began to blow everywhere. Similarly, Vivah Panchami is still widely celebrated as the marriage of Mother Sita and Lord Rama.
