7 Best Android 13 Functions:

  1. New Color Options for You Material
Android 12 introduced the idea of Material You. It is a theming system based on wallpaper that allows you to adapt the user interface to your background. This functionality, however, has several limits. There were just four background colours and four main colours to chose from.

It was not possible to select your favourite colours for Material You. It still isn’t with Android 13, but you can now pick from a total of 16 colour options. There’s a good possibility you’ll find your favourite colour.

  1. Edit Text from the Clipboard Directly
My particular favourite is this one. We frequently copy items to our clipboard but then make adjustments. With Android 12, you had to copy text from the clipboard, modify it, and then copy it back. No longer; with Android 13, you can now modify copied text on your clipboard by tapping the pencil symbol at the bottom.
  2. Simple QR Code Scanning Access
Scanning QR codes for digital payments or other reasons has become an indispensable part of our daily life. Scanning a QR code on Android 13 makes it easier to access stuff. From your lock screen, you will be able to scan any QR code. For easier access, the QR code scanner has been incorporated into the Quick Settings menu.
  3. App-Specific Languages in Multiple Languages
Google has finally provided the ability to choose app-specific languages in addition to the system language. You may establish multiple languages for different apps using the panlingual code. This function is useful when using programmes that do not support several languages.
  4. Use the Lock Screen to control your Smart Home Devices.
Some users may find it tedious to have to unlock their phone every time they want to operate their gadgets.

As a result, Google has included a new feature to Android 13 that allows users to control their smart home devices directly from the lock screen. For whatever reason, the functionality is disabled by default. You must manually turn it on.

Wallpaper Dimming and 3D Cinematic Wallpapers
Google is adding 3D wallpapers that move with your phone in Android 13. This tool allows you to give any wallpaper a 3D look. This feature is not currently available, but it will be in Android 13 shortly.

Additionally, there is a Dimming Wallpaper function within the wallpaper area. This function reduces the brightness of your current wallpaper, allowing you to see better in the dark.

  1. Use your finger to switch between audio devices.
Google has finally included the ability to switch between devices with a single swipe to Android 13. This will make switching between devices, particularly audio ones, much easier. This capability has long been available in Android skins and is now finding its way to standard Android.
